If you want to make a difference to your business - how successful it is, how robust it is and what people say about you – you’ve come to the right place.

At fwa we help organisations of all types and size realise their business objectives by using the sustainability agenda in practical, innovative and creative ways. And if you want to make a difference through being in business we can help you with that too.

We work by focussing on your business needs, aims and concerns, looking at them through a corporate sustainability view-finder for the connections and opportunities that will best help you. We cut through the complexities of sustainable business to make it easily accessible, and use our knowledge and contacts to make effective links for you.

Making sense of sustainability

Why do we say that?

We believe you need to make sound business sense of the opportunities in sustainability to make it really work for you. Sustainable business has a lot of facets and connecting strings - you need to negotiate them to your best advantage. We can help you unpack, focus around your situation and then re-pack what is right for you to embed it in your business strategy, in the right way, at your own pace.

What can sustainability in business do for me?

There are many drivers and market forces currently working together which if handled well can lead to a strong set of sustainable business benefits. We talk about ‘business’ but these matters apply to organisations in the public and not-for-profit sectors too - you also need to be business-like and many of the same forces and opportunities apply just as strongly in your world.

The flip side to these benefits is that if you don’t take action to achieve them, your competitors soon will and poor sustainability performance will become a set of risks for your business.

Many people think this agenda is just for bigger business and organisations. Not true. It is true they are tending to drive the way forward, but that means they are raising the bar for everyone else. Smaller businesses who learn to keep up and lead can use sustainability successfully to drive business, save costs and build value in a world of changing priorities.
